Lara Bellini
Lara Bellini is a London-based jazz critic, radio producer, journalist, intrapreneur and academic. While completing her master’s research in Economic History in Italy, Lara worked in Jazz Festival and co-presented the Rome Salt Peanuts jazz program on Radio Città Futura, the Italian partner of BBC World Service.
In 2000 she moved to London where she taught briefly at Westminster University (Visiting Lecturer in Business Economics and Marketing, Communications and Music Business) before moving to BBC Radio 3. For the BBC he has produced numerous programs including: Jazz Record Requests and his Red Nose Day pitch on Radio 3. She worked as a Broadcast Journalist on the Asian Network (Anita Rani weekday morning talkback program on BBC Asian Network). She is , in addition, a music writer for the BBC. She is the London correspondent for Musica Jazz (www.musicajazz.it) the oldest and most prestigious jazz magazine in Italy. Lara is Senior Lecturer (Entrepreneurship) at the Coventry University London Campus.
